Course & Module Objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

Virtual World - IvyTech Engineering Island. For several months I have been working on a virtual world where students can interact with each other and use existing technology to learn engineering concepts. I would like you to use Second Life for this course and some of the assignments.

First, you will need to download and install the Second Life Viewer on your PC. The Second Life Viewer is @ https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/
Second, you will need to create an Avatar in Second Life and learn how to move. Prep for Presentation in Second Life - Check out

Third, you will need to create 96 wide x 48 high inch poster using Power Point. You can use one of the following templates:

Beaumont
Chamberlain
Forrest
Kensington
Lockwood
Marquee
Newfield
Winchester
Download a template and create a poster presentation.

Fourth, send me your poster presentation (pptx) and go to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/IvyTech Engineering Island/212/127/21. I will provide you a time to present.
