• Course used mechanical and physical properties of materials
• I was introduce to stress and strain curves
• I didn’t realize how complex a stress and strain curves are
• I had to manual calculate yield point, tensile strength, percentage of elongation
• My final project was to calculate the minimum diameter of four different materials to suspend a 20 ton truck in the air
